The Joy Luck Club is one of novel that be able to pleasure the readers, in this novel so many stories that could share a great event such as Scar, China, The Red Candle, and many others, when I read it, only one I could say before, I could not close this book because the story is really good enough, it brings pleasure and sometime sadness or happiness, as if I have been there. To tell the experience or the complex story, Amy Tan is a writer of good talent were succeed to brought the readers through a world that never experienced before.

Jing-Mei’s father asks her to be the fourth corner at the Joy Luck Club mah jong table. She is going to replace or change her mother’s position, Suyuan, who founded the Joy Luck Club, because it has been empty since she died several months ago, Suyuan died of a cerebral aneurism “the thought grew too big and burst” and her friends at the Joy Luck Club said she died with unfinished business. Jing-Mei’s "aunties" give Jing-Mei enough money to travel to China and meet her sisters. Finally, Jing-Mei has the opportunity to change her mother’s greatest wish,
